Sometimes the only thing to do with a big tree is remove it and start a new.
Here was a tree which had outgrown its position and was threatening the house and safety of the yard and surrounding. Being a species that is prone to loosing branches and a history of limb drop already, the course of action was clear, the tree needed to be removed.
The team designed a safe efficient plan and acted proactively through the day, taking down the fence to give greater access and space to ensure nothing was damaged and the tree came down safely. The logs were sorted as they came down and stacked ready to be recycled into slabs for furniture and firewood, ensuring nothing went to waste.
Once the tree was down, the logs were collected, the stump was ground, and the fence put back up, ready for the grass to grow where the stump ad been and client to finally enjoy their back yard again, free from the worry of having dangerous limbs above them.
